Jean Guy Trudel will coach all travel teams and run all practices with his group of coaches, including Blake Ortman.

Guy has been the Peoria Rivermen coach since 2013, clinching a playoff berth in each season as head coach, as well as SPHL Coach of the Year 3 times and winning the SPHL President's Cup during the 2021-2022 season.

Guy's playing career spanned the ECHL, AHL and ultimately in the NHL, as well as playing professional hockey in Switzerland.

Blake Ortman is the current coach and a former player for the Peoria Mustangs, who also coached and played college hockey at Midland University.

We are pleased to announce that we have retained President's Cup-winning coach, Jean Guy Trudel, as our hockey director. In his role, Coach Trudel will be running skills and skating on Mondays, as well as running all travel practices.
